
Rose Hendricks
Rose provides coaching, consulting, and facilitation services to support leaders and teams as they live their potential and enhance their positive impact. Rose’s purpose is helping people develop vision, lead with purpose and clarity, and manage change in order to meet the world’s great need for their elevated leadership. Her core values of curiosity and growth guide her practice.
Rose works with a wide range of for-profit, government, and nonprofit clients from those operating locally and regionally in the greater Yellowstone area to organizations and individuals operating nationally and globally. As a lifelong student of change processes, Rose studied change at the macro level in undergraduate school, obtaining a B.A. in History at Grinnell College. After college, her fascination with applied change processes led her to work in a rapidly growing company in the private sector. This corporate experience solidified her passion for change processes and leadership development with individuals and teams. She pursued an M.A. from Prescott College focused on leadership education, human development, learning design, and organizational development. She has worked to create the conditions for purposeful growth and positive change ever since through teaching, coaching, facilitating and consulting. Rose continues to feed her love of learning as a member of the Institute of Coaching at McLean, Affiliate of Harvard Medical School.

Vickie Mates
Vickie holds a variety of skills, abilities, and experience from her 24 years of career experience with the National Park Service and the non-profits that support them. Her teams have been on the leading edge of partnerships, visitor engagement, education, and inspiration on public lands. Vickie began her career in the non-profit sector as an environmental educator at Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio. She served in leadership roles at Cuyahoga Valley, Theodore Roosevelt, Yosemite, and Grand Teton national parks.
In her last post in government service, from 2011-2022, she provided leadership for key relationships with Grand Teton National Park Foundation, Grand Teton Association, and Teton Science Schools. Vickie enjoys all things outdoor recreation and has a deep appreciation for the power of nature in healing and rejuvenating the human spirit. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences from Allegheny College, a Master of Science in Resource Interpretation from Stephen F. Austin State University, and has held certification in training and coaching throughout her career in Interpretation and Education.

Raquel Romero
Raquel loves helping people become better leaders and helping teams become more effective. Before joining High Ridge Leadership in 2015, Raquel enjoyed a 22-year career with the federal government: 15 years as a Public Affairs Officer with the US Forest Service and seven years as a Leadership Development Specialist with the National Park Service (NPS). She was proud to receive two prestigious awards during her career with the NPS: one for “Excellence in Innovation” and one for “Visionary Leadership Development”.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communication from Eastern New Mexico University and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Norwich University. Raquel lives in Missoula, MT with her husband Mike. She adores her grown children, Aspen and Carson, and she enjoys running, hiking, skiing, and cooking new recipes with ingredients from her garden.

Michael Wood
Mike is passionate about helping organizations grow their resilience in the face of change and uncertainty. He also believes leaders within organizations play a crucial role in determining the quality of response to change and uncertainty.
Since 2003, Mike has designed and led programs and workshops that help organizations and individuals develop their leadership capacity through self-reflection, assessment, and facilitated interactions with peers. While these programs and workshops address a wide variety of topics, they are all oriented toward generating effective innovation and adaptive responses to change and uncertainty within client organizations. Mike lives in Missoula, MT, along with his wife and business partner Raquel and their aging dog and cat. He loves the public lands of the Big Sky state and is an avid trail runner and skier.
